Belly Shots & Survey - 7 Months Edition!

-How far along? 28 weeks!
-How big is baby? 2 1/4 pounds and 14.8 inches - the size of a Chinese cabbage (because we all know what Chinese cabbages look like.)
-Weight gain? We'll see for sure at the midwife appointment on Thursday, but I think I've gained about 3-4lbs this month.
-Maternity clothes? Successfully stuffed my heiney into some pre-preggo jeans this week, and as long as you can overlook the fact that the zipper/button areas were about 3-5 inches from touching each other it fit like a dream! Other than that, all maternity wear all the time (and I'm getting really sick of shirts that fit last week (or even yesterday) suddenly not fitting at all. Seriously, I need to go into the maternity clothing biz. This is a damn racket.)
-Stretchies? There's one fairly suspicious looking little mark forming on my right side. I gave it a very stern talking-to this morning, so we'll see if my harsh words (and gallon or seven of belly butter) convinces it to crawl back to stretchie mark hell where it came from.
-Sleep? Breaking News: My hips hurt. Also, heartburn - wowzah. That is some nasty business. Good ol' Celia whipped out some decent ideas for me to try, though, and it has been better lately. Ain't she just a dream, people? : )
-Movement? Eggy is one busy little beaver in there. He's now big enough for his movements to wake me up at night, as well as prevent me from going to sleep. He seems to quiet down if Nick rubs my belly, so that's how we spend many an evening in bed now (ah, romance.) Eggy's also learned the cute new "drop to the bottom of the pond and cause Mommy to nearly pee her pants" move. There have been some fast runs (aka - awkward waddles) to the bathroom lately. (Awesome trick number two is when you get there and baby moves and then you can't pee. Hiiiiiiiiiiilarious!)
-Food cravings? Chocolate jello and I have been having some special moments lately....
-Gender? Hopefully still a boy, otherwise I'm woefully over-prepared with blue clothing for my baby...
-Belly button in or out? Sorta both. It's...not attractive.
-What I miss? Being able to breath while I bend over.
- Milestone? Goodbye 2nd trimester and hello 3rd! I know this last trimester is going to go awfully quick...
